What We Do Print

JAA is excited about spearheading a movement of Jewish Australians who proactively seek out opportunities to help others in a sustainable and dignified manner.

We currently have volunteer programs running in Melbourne (refugee support), northern NSW (aboriginal - derech eretz), and international (volunteer Nepal). We aim to open an office in Sydney in the near future.

Our goals:

o Humanitarian work

To effect positive and lasting change in the communities we work with through capacity building programs and social justice campaigns.

o Building bridges

To develop strong and meaningful relationships between the Jewish and non-Jewish communities in Australia and overseas.

o Jewish values

To enhance the Jewish Community’s connection to humanitarian causes based on the Jewish tradition and values.
