Jewish Aid Australia has worked with Hanover Welfare Services for 6 years undertaking volunteer programs with families, students and young adults.

Hanover Welfare Services for the Homeless

Jewish Aid Australia was instrumental in setting up One Umbrella. One Umbrella is a leading food rescue organisation dedicated to helping reduce the cause of hunger and food insecurity in Australia.  

Food Rescue — a major initiative for JAA through 2 programs: Cabrini Hospital and One Umbrella

Jewish Aid Australia works with The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC), a community based non-profit organisation, and the largest provider of aid, advocacy and health services for asylum seekers in Australia.

Refugee Support Services

Every week JAA collects unopened and foods from Cabrini Hospital and with a Jewish Day School we sort and then distribute the food to a variety of agencies supporting families in need.  We need drivers to collect the food & informal educators to work in the schools.
